Our first event will feature the impactful documentary The Click Trap (2024), shown for the first time in Belgium. This 54-minute film delves into the digital advertising ecosystem's darker facets—highlighting issues such as data privacy invasions, the amplification of extremist content, and the commodification of personal information for profit. 

‍

Before the screening, a keynote address on EU digital policy will set the stage for a panel discussion on digitalisation, platform regulation, transparency, and the broader societal implications of these issues within the EU.

Panel Discussion: Digital Regulation at the EU Level

The panel will bring together distinguished voices from the industry and EU institutions to examine the role of the Digital Markets Act (DMA) and Digital Services Act (DSA) in creating a safe, transparent digital space.
