Event Description
Panel Discussion: Planet vs. Profit: Europe's Choice for the Next Generation
This edition will open with a panel discussion, followed by the screening of Invisible Hand (2020) directed by Joshua Boaz Pribanic and Melissa A. Troutman and executive produced by Mark Ruffalo.
The panel will explore what "going green" really means in an age of deregulation: how Europe can pursue climate ambition without sacrificing economic competitiveness, what role EU institutions can play in defending nature's rights, and how environmental protection can remain a binding commitment. We will also look at what a genuine green transition could require — politically, economically, and in terms of intergenerational responsibility.
