"A 19-year-old tribal girl from South India, full of wild dreams, moves to the city, embraces her new life, and marries the man she loves. She then uncovers a shocking female-foeticide plot threatening her friend. Without her knowledge, her husband accepts a bribe to stay silent about the illegal, gender-based pregnancy. She must now choose: sacrifice her marriage, or save her friend’s unborn daughter."
